Chris Cornell announces solo dates

Chris Cornell has announce details of his first US solo shows following his decision to leave Audioslave.

As previously announced Cornell quit the supergroup in February due to “irresolvable personality conflicts”.

He sang the theme tune for the 2006 James Bond movie ’Casino Royale’, and is set to release his second solo album ’Carry On’ on April 30.

Cornell has also contribute an as-yet-untitled song to the soundtrack of the movie ’Bug’, which is due to be released in the US on May 25.

He will play:

Toronto The Phoenix (April 14)
Boston Avalon (19)
Philadelphia Theatre of Living Arts (22)
