Chris Cornell has announced his first UK headlining gig of the year.
The former Audioslave and Soundgarden frontman is set to play London's Astoria on May 16, with tickets going on sale today (April 5).
He is expected to preview new material from his forthcoming album, 'Carry On', due out May 21 in the UK (April 30 in the US), as well as play songs from Temple Of The Dog and Soundgarden's back catalogue.
Cornell also announced that 'Arms Around Your Love' will be the first UK single from the album, due out on May 21.
The singer is set to support Aerosmith at Hyde Park Calling on June 24, as previously announced.
