Ex-Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell and producer Timbaland have teamed up to record an album together.

The duo are set to release 'Scream' on March 9.

Every song on the album is said to have been partly inspired by Pink Floyd's legendary 1979 album 'The Wall'. Each track flows into the next, giving the impression of one continuous piece of music.

Speaking about the collaboration, Cornell said he thought the album was "the best work I've done in my career".

Cornell also announced details of a European tour set to take place this February.

Franky, no offence mate, but how can you imply this is the worst album in his career when it has not even been released. At least listen to it before you trash it!I personally am looking forward to hearning it. I also look forward to Led Zeppelin touring with Cornell as their singer...well, maybe not that...

Yea. I agree with Franky. This is not the best in your career. It's not bad, but uhhh fuckin Louder than Love, Superunknown those were the best. Ohhh...and thanks for selling out to Verizon I like it when my favorite artists cheapen their music...
