CHRISTINA DEBUTS AT NUMBER ONE

'Dirrty' is the UK's new Number One single...

CHRISTINA AGUILERA entered the UK singles chart at Number One this evening (Sunday, November 17) with her comeback single 'Dirrty'.

The solo star, who performed at this week's MTV Europe Music Awards,
reached the top in the 50th anniversary week of the chart. The singles chart was invented by NME in 1952.

Nelly and Kelly Rowland climb to 2, 'Heaven' by DJ Sammy And Yanou is at 3, and last week's Number One, 'Unbreakable' by Westlife, falls to 4.

Blazin' Squad have the second highest new entry on this week's chart with 'Love On The Line' at 6. Other new entries this week include Sugababes with 'Stronger'/'Angels With Dirty Faces' at 7, Kylie Minogue with 'Come Into My World' at 8,and Coldplay's 'The Scientist' at 10.

On the albums chart, Westlife's greatest hits collection 'Unbreakable' debuts at Number One, with Elton John's 'The Greatest Hits 1970-2002' new at 3 and Craig David's 'Slicker Than Your Average' entering at 4.
