CHRISTINA AGUILERA CANCELS TOUR

CHRISTINA AGUILERA has been forced to cancel her North American summer tour due to strained vocal chords.

The singer’s doctors have told her to take time off to give her voice time to recover, meaning that the twenty-eight city jaunt - due to kick off on May 13 in Seattle - has been scrapped, reports Rolling Stone.

Aguilera said: “I am extremely disappointed, I was looking forward to being on the road again and spending time with my fans.

The tour was due to support her latest album ’Stripped’ with rapper Chingy as a special guest.

Last year saw the star and Justin Timberlake co-headline the ’Justified and Stripped Tour’.

Refunds will be offered at the point of purchase.
