Chvrches cover Janelle Monáe's 'Tightrope' - watch

The Scottish band play their version of the song at the Billboard Women in Music event

Chvrches covered Janelle Monáe's 'Tightrope' at last month's Billboard Women in Music event in New York.

Footage of the performance has now been shared online. Click above to watch the Scottish band run through their version of Monáe's 2010 single, performing to a crowd which included Monáe herself. After performing the track, Monáe embraced Chvrches frontwoman Lauren Mayberry.

Chvrches are set to tour the UK and Ireland in March. They will play:

Glasgow Barrowland (March 8)
Leeds Met Uni (March 9)
Birmingham Institute (March 10)
Cambridge Junction (March 12)
Cardiff Uni Solus (March 13)
