Chvrches, EMA and Black Lips added to Liverpool Music Week
Chvrches, EMA and Black Lips have been added to the line-up at Liverpool Music Week's 10th anniversary later this year.

The trio, along with Nick Mulvey and others, will play the closing party on Saturday November 1. They join the likes of Mogwai, Caribou and Wild Beasts who have already been announced as headliners of various shows at the week long festival. It will take place in Liverpool during October and November.

The gigs will take place at Camp & Furnace and the O2 Academy. The festival's director Mike Deane said of this year's event: "We are thrilled to announce our first wave of headliners for this our very special 10th anniversary edition. Both the festival and the city have come a long way in the past decade, and that's not only reflected by the incredible headliners that we are so excited to announce in Mogwai, Caribou and Wild Beasts – but also through some of the international partnerships, collaborations and commissions that we will be announcing over the coming months, that will marry perfectly and work alongside this incredible city's buzzing current music scene."

Promoters ATP are amongst those curating events at the festival. Meanwhile, venue the Kazimier will act as the Festival Hub, hosting free shows and discounted events.

Last year's Liverpool Music Week attracted 48,000 people to the city.
