The ShockWaves NME Awards Shows 2006 begin
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah kicked off the ShockWaves NME Awards Shows 2006 last night(February 10) with a special show at Koko in London.

Watched by superstar actor Jude Law, the Brooklyn band played a 65 minute set which included several new tracks 'Graceful Retreat', 'Me And You Watson' and 'Satan Said Dance'.

The biggest cheers of the evening were reserved for 'Is This Love','The Skin Of My Yellow Colour Teeth' and 'Clap Your Hands!', which saw the audience showered with white balloons.

The show culminated in the band being joined onstage by support act Dr Dog for the final track 'Heights'.

The ShockWaves NME Awards Shows 2006 continue tonight (February 11) at Koko with performances from The Dead 60s, The Kooks and Good Books.

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah are set to release their first single 'In This Home On Ice' on February 27.
