Clearlake have finished recording their second LP and will release it early in the New Year.
'Cedars', the follow-up to 2001's acclaimed 'Lido' is released on February 3. It was recorded by the band in France and Brighton and produced with former Cocteau
Twins star Simon Raymonde. It's followed by a new single, 'Almost The Same', which is released on February 24.
'Almost The Same' is described by singer and writer Jason Pegg as a "veiled
love song". "It's about friendship and having something in common with
someone," he says. "I suppose it1s the most clear-cut song on the album."
The band have also announced a short UK tour, where they will preview material from the album. The dates are:
Reading Fez Club (December 4)
Bath Porters Bar (December 5)
Tunbridge Wells Forum (December 6)
Southampton Joiners (December 9)
