Clinic cancel show after student threats

These New Puritans were also due to play

Clinic have been forced to cancel their show at Central St Martin’s in London after students threatened to stage a sit-in if it went ahead.

The concert was due to take place on December 14, and was also set to feature These New Puritans and The Archie Bronson Outfit.

However the show was pulled because, according to a statement, “A small minority of students...saw the show as a perceived disruption to their studies and were threatening to stage a sit-in protest.”

A replacement for the show will be announced at a later date. A full refund is available from point of purchase.

The band are set to release their single ’If You Could Read Your Mind’ on February 5.
