CMJ 2007 kicks off in New York
Justice, Jack Penate, Simian Mobile Disco and hundreds more hit town
Acts both signed and unsigned are in town for the event, including Justice, Illinois, Ghostland Observatory, The Dead Trees and Death Of Fashion.
The Brit contingent is also there in full force with Jack Penate, Foals, 1990s, The Maccabees, Simian Mobile Disco and all taking part, while hotly-tipped locals A Place To Bury Strangers, Vampire Weekend and Tiny Masters Of Today will all also perform this week.
NME is hosting two parties at Lower East Side venue Annex this week – the first is tonight and features performances by Sam Champion, The Little Ones and Tiny Masters Of Today, while Thursday’s Club NME With Fred Perry Subculture will see performances by Mates Of State, We Are Wolves, Born In The Flood and hotly-tipped Floridians Black Kids.
