Jason Pierce plays one of the last ever Acoustic Mainlines shows

Spiritualized played one of the last ever Acoustic Mainlines shows in the Mojave tent at the Coachella festival tonight (April 28).

The show, which Jason Pierce has been touring for a year now, features Pierce on acoustic guitar and vocals, regular Spiritualized guitarist Doggen on Fender Rhodes, a four-piece string section and three gospel singers. The first three songs tonight suffered from serious sound problems, but a sizeable crowd willed the band through them.

Highlights included rousing versions of classics such as 'Broken Heart', the now customary Daniel Johnston cover and new single 'Soul On Fire'.

Spiritualized played:

'Sitting On Fire'
'Lord Let It Rain On Me'
'True Love Will Find You In The End'
'Hey Man'
'Going Down Slow'
'Soul On Fire'
'Walkin' With Jesus'
'Baby I'm Just A Fool'
'Anything More'
'Broken Heart'
'I Think I'm In Love'
'Oh Happy Day'
