Cold War Kids play special cover

Cold War Kids performed a cover of Sam Cooke's 'A Change Is Gonna Come' as they wrapped up their UK tour in London last night (May 21).

The Los Angeles-based band also threw in two new tracks into their 75-minute set as they completed a 12 date jaunt of the UK with a final show at KOKO.

Kicking off the night with 'Tell Me In The Morning', the quartet rolled through several tracks from their blues-infused debut 'Robbers And Cowards' including singles 'Hang Me Up To Dry', 'We Used To Vacation' and 'Hospital Beds'.

During the set the band also showcased two new tracks - 'Dirt In The Ground' and 'Dreams Old Men Dream'.

Later on, singer Nathan Willet dimmed the lights as the band shined torches at the crowd for a rousing rendition of 'Robbers'.
