Cold War Kids compete to open Baltimore Virgin Festival
Band in bid to launch main stage
Long Beach’s Cold War Kids are competing to open the Virgin Festival in Baltimore, Maryland.
The band are in the running with four other acts including Aiden and Say Anything to open the stage, despite the fact that they are well-placed on the bill for several high profile European festivals including Glastonbury, Oxegen and T In The Park.
Cold War Kids are also scheduled for a slot at Lollapalooza in Chicago, and have the much-coveted opening slot on The White Stripes tour kicking off in September, including a show at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Fans are invited to vote here for the band to open the festival.
