COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN has been cautioned after admitting he attacked a photographer in April this year.
Snapper Alessandro Copetti claimed that Martin had floored him with a kick to the back as he took a picture of wife Gwyneth Paltrow leaving San Lorenzo restaurant in London's Knightsbridge.
Martin had previously claimed that the photographer had tripped chasing their taxi as they left he scene, but after a five-month police investigation, he has admitted the assault.
Copetti, who injured his knee and broke his camera flash during the incident said: "At least he's accepted responsibility. The police said he apologised to them and was very helpful. But he has never apologised to me. He seems to think it is okay to be violent to photographers because he is a celebrity," reports The Sun.
Police commented: "A 27-year-old man was cautioned for common assault."
