Coldplay confirmed for 2005 MTV Video Music Awards

COLDPLAY and Ludacris have been confirmed to appear at the 2005 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS.
They will join the list of previously announced performers including Shakira, The Killers, Mariah Carey, , is to be held in Miami on August 29.
The awards ceremony, in which Green Day, U2 and Coldplay lead the nominations, will be broadcast on MTV UK on that same Bank Holiday Monday at 9pm.
