Big names confirmed to play BRIT Awards
Coldplay Performing in Earls Court, London December 14th 2005
Including some NME favourites
Coldplay, Kanye West and Kaiser Chiefs are among the artists confirmed to play at the 2006 BRIT Awards.
The ceremony, the 26th in the event’s history, takes place at London’s Earls Court on February 15.
Other artists who are confirmed include James Blunt, Kelly Clarkson and KT Tunstall. More names will be added in the coming weeks.
The nominations for the awards will be unveiled at Riverside Studios, London, tomorrow (January 10) with BBC Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox hosting.
As has already been revealed, The Outstanding Contribution To Music Award will be presented to Paul Weller.
Confirmed to perform live at the launch party are The Magic Numbers, KT Tunstall and Kaiser Chiefs.
