Coldplay are in the process of buying a London property they plan convert into a state-of-the-art recording studio.
The building in Hampstead will also double as an office for members of the band's staff.
The group will use the property as the base for the recording of the follow up to 2005's ’X&Y’.
Earlier this year Will Champion said: “We’re trying to find somewhere we can set up and work from. In all of these years working together we haven’t had an HQ, our own studio or anything like that. We want somewhere where we can hole up and see what happens.”
