Coldplay’s Chris Martin has followed The Killers by revealing a regular Christmas charity project.
However while the Las Vegas band have released a festive single for the last two years, Martin has been indulging in a spot of plumbing for the last three.
According to the Daily Express, the Coldplay man helps at homeless charity Crisis at one of their shelters over the festive period.
"Chris has been doing their plumbing for them,” the paper quoted a source at the shelter saying. "He does this every year, for free, on the hush, hush. Apparently he's quite a dab hand with it all."
Officially Crisis would say was: "We have 7000 volunteers helping at Christmas. There are celebrities among them but we can't name those who wish to remain anonymous."
Martin though is not the only rock star to help out Crisis with the likes of Supergrass, Babyshambles, The Gossip and The Enemy all working on a single for the charity.
