Interpol, Tom Petty, NIN, Jay-Z also set for Pemberton

Coldplay, Interpol, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Nine Inch Nails, Jay-Z and The Flaming Lips are among the bands who will headline a new Canadian festival this summer.

The first-ever Pemberton Festival is set to take place July 25-27 in Pemberton, British Columbia -- a two-hour drive from Vancouver.

Also on the bill for the three-day festival are My Morning Jacket, Vampire Weekend, Death Cab For Cutie, MGMT, MSTRKRFT, Metric and Serj Tankian.

More than 50 bands will be featured over the long weekend on two stages and in a dance tent.

Festival-goers can camp on-site or stay in nearby hotels. Hydro-electric energy will be the main power source for the festival, and carpools with four or more people can park for free.
