Coldplay announce Liverpool show

Band will play the Echo Arena in December

Coldplay will play a gig at the Liverpool Echo Arena on December 10.

The gig will occur as city's European Capital Of Culture celebrations come to a close. Ticket details are yet to be announced.

As previously announced on NME.COM, Coldplay are set to play two free gigs, one at the London Brixton Academy (June 16) and one at the New York Madison Square Garden (June 23).

Tickets for the two free shows are being given away via a ballot on Coldplay.com. Details of a Coldplay US tour for the summer have also been announced.

European dates are due to be announced soon.

I'd like to think so....but coldplay bum america. If they do do a tour i bet it will only be like 3-4 dates at HUGE arenas. Saying that....i bet they do wembley stadium
