Coldplay have announced a series of 2009 UK stadium shows.

The band will play a trio of dates in their native Britain next September, having previously been forced to rule out a proposed performance at Knebworth due to scheduling issues.

They play:

Well, well, well, Coldplay, your continual monotonous drone has landed you a large venue tour. Big woop, wanna fight about it?

Poor coldplay

Coldplay and Jay-Z have collaborated before, on his Kingdom Come album. Wonder if Oasis would consider having a hip-hop support act?! Probably not, they're so conservative, musically speaking...

Noel will be there in the front row...

Hahaha, i'm loving the anti-Coldplay comments on here, they're quite funny. Mainly because they're blatantly "i'm so alternative and anti-mainstream i'm gonna have a pop at Coldplay cuz they're big and stuff and then people will think i'm cool and underground".I don't mind either act really, no doubt this'll be a huge set of shows as both acts are incredibly popular. This is a tout's dream right here.

Moz_1982 ... its because they are so depressingly bad, I actually think the first album was quite good, but since then downhill faster than you can say Yellow. Their is better, and more interesting music than Coldplay, it's not hard to look. Got nowt to do with "i'm so alternative" . people's musical tastes develop ... I just think Coldplay are just very bad cant stand to listen to them. Jay Zed and Coldplay?? bizarre , he's gonna liven up the crowd with his "yo yo yo yo" and then Coldplay are gonna piss all over his "Yo" bonfire. God it will be more lively at gods waiting room in an old peoples home.I hope they got fireworks to wake people up at the end.. always does the trick.

dear moz_1983, i have no problem with radiohead or muse being "big and stuff" because they don't write glorified elevator music. don't assume that everyone who dislikes coldplay is busy being "anti-mainstream" (i will proudly bump justin timberlake followed by bon iver)... they're a MOR band with good production that got lucky.

Moz_1983 - sorry mate but its because Coldplay are one of the most boringly shit bands on the planet, fuck the underground, alternative and mainstream also...
