Coldplay, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Kanye West lead Grammy nominations

Radiohead, Ne-Yo and Robert Plant and Alison Krauss also nominated

Coldplay, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and Kanye West have received multiple nominations for the forthcoming Grammy awards.

Lil Wayne is up for eight gongs, Coldplay are in contention for seven, while Jay-Z, Kanye West and Ne-Yo have received six.

The nominations were announced via a televised concert that featured Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera and BB King.

Amy Winehouse dominated the Grammy awards at the last ceremony, taking home six gongs last February.
