Coldplay are the latest band to make a guest appearance in 'The Simpsons'.
Chris Martin will play himself in the episode, in which the band perform a private show for Bart and Homer, after Homer wins a million dollars in the lottery.
Executive producer Al Jean told EW.com that the band are forced to halt the gig when Bart goes to the bathroom.
Eartha Kitt is among the other guests to appear on the upcoming season, having recorded her part before she died last year.
Other bands who have appeared on the show include U2, The White Stripes, Ramones and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
