Coldplay have apologised for having to cancel a gig at the Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa yesterday (August 9).
In a message posted on the band's official website, Coldplay.com, it was explained that the show would be rescheduled, and that the gig was cancelled due to medical issues.
"We're sorry to report that Coldplay have been forced to postpone their show at the Ford Amphitheatre," the message read. "This is due to medical reasons. The show is currently being rescheduled – we'll give you the new details as soon as we have them. In the meantime, the band have asked us to apologise on their behalf for the inconvenience this causes."
Coldplay are set to play their next live show at the MCH Arena in Herning, Denmark on August 16.
