Coldplay, Elbow and 'special guests' Pulp for Glastonbury 2011 day two

Coldplay are set for their third outing as headliners of Glastonbury festival tonight (June 25), as the second day of music gets underway at the Somerset event.

Chris Martin's band are set to play material from their as-yet unreleased fifth studio album for their Pyramid Stage slot tonight, including new single 'Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall'. They previously topped the bill at Worthy Farm in 2002 and 2005.

Elbow also return to Glastonbury after a hugely well-received set in 2009, playing material from their new LP 'Build A Rocket Boys!' for the first time on a UK festival stage. Friendly Fires and White Lies are also set to play the biggest festival slots of their careers to date today, appearing before headliners The Chemical Brothers on the Other Stage this evening.

After Radiohead's surprise slot at The Park stage yesterday, the second 'special guests' of the weekend, Pulp, are set to play the same stage at 7:45pm (BST). Other acts playing today include The Horrors, Warpaint, Tinie Tempah and The Gaslight Anthem.

U2 (pictured right) finally made it to Glastonbury to play a headline slot last night – complete with the planned protest in the crowd from the Art Uncut group about their tax issues.
