Coldplay, Jessie J and Snow Patrol to play at 2011 MTV EMA Awards
Two separate shows announced for this year’s bash in Belfast

Coldplay, Jessie J and Snow Patrol have been confirmed to perform at this year’s MTV European Music Awards (EMAs) ceremony, which is taking place in Belfast on November 6.
Coldplay - who release their new album on 'Mylo Xyloto' on October 24 - and 'Do It Like A Dude' singer Jessie J will join previously confirmed guests the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the bill for next month’s bash at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena.
Snow Patrol, meanwhile, will play a free show at Belfast’s Iconic City Hall which will coincide with the main EMAs ceremony. They will also be joined by singer-songwriter Jason Derulo. For more information, visit Gotobelfast.com.
Lady Gaga has the most EMA nominations this year, with six nods including Best Female, Best Pop, Best Live and Best Song for 'Born This Way’.
Katy Perry and Bruno Mars each have four nominations apiece, while Coldplay and Jessie J both have three.
Speaking to MTV about the upcoming ceremony, J said: "I can’t quite believe I’m nominated for three awards. It’s like a dream, I keep pinching myself. And being nominated for Best UK/Ireland Act alongside artists like Adele, Coldplay, Kasabian and Florence is an honour,”
