Coldplay took part in a Saturday Night Live sketch this weekend (November 12), which saw them weeping their eyes out to Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’ along with the rest of the US comedy show’s cast and actress Emma Stone.

Coldplay will be playing five stadium shows in the UK next summer.

The band will first headline Coventry's Ricoh Arena on May 29, before playing two dates at London's Emirates Stadium on June 1 and 2. They will then play Sunderland's Stadium Of Light on June 7 and Manchester's Etihad Stadium on June 9.

Coldplay will play:

Coventry Ricoh Stadium (May 29)
London Emirates Stadium (June 1, 2)
Sunderland Stadium of Light (7)
Manchester Etihad Stadium (9)
