Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has admitted that he regrets calling their recent album 'Mylo Xyloto'.

The band named their fifth studio effort after "two words that you couldn't even Google".

But Martin has now said the title is causing him a headache because it is confusing fans.

He told Good Morning America:

It's just something that we thought looked really good but everywhere we go around the world people pronounce it in the most crazy ways and we're beginning to regret it now.

The singer also recently downplayed the band's success at the Brit Awards, claiming they only won Best British Group because there were no other bands to chose from.

"To be honest, most British bands have split up," Martin said. "Blur have gone, Pulp have gone, Take That are on holiday, we're the only British band left on the pitch! But we'll take that."

They beat Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and Elbow to the gong. Meanwhile, Coldplay will kick off their first North American tour in nearly three years on April 17.
