Coldplay have revealed new track 'Always In My Head', the latest song from new album 'Ghost Stories'. Scroll down to listen to it.

The song features backing vocals from Chris Martin's daughter, Apple.

Speaking to Radio 1's Zane Lowe earlier this week, Martin claimed the track is about "togetherness through life's challenges".

This follows comments made by Martin in the same interview about how his "conscious uncoupling" from wife Gwyneth Paltrow affected the band's new music. When asked if his relationship breakdown was the inspiration behind the new album, Martin replied: "What changed for me was - I don’t want to go through life being scared of it, being scared of love, being scared of rejection, being scared of failure."

'Ghost Stories' is Coldplay's sixth album and will be released on May 19.

Coldplay have also announced a string of live dates around the world.

Coldplay will play:

Cologne E-Werk, Germany (April 25)
New York Beacon Theatre, USA (May 5)
Los Angeles Royce Hall, USA (May 19)
Glasgow Green, Radio 1's Big Weekend, UK (May 24)
Paris Casino de Paris, France (May 28)
Tokyo Dome City Hall, Japan (June 12)
London Royal Albert Hall, UK (July 1)
