COLDPLAY's star continues to rise in the US as a cross section of LA's film and music elite - including WINONA RYDER, ALANIS MORISSETTE, rising actor TOBEY MAGUIRE and LIZ PHAIR - joined regular fans at the band's gig in the city on Sunday night (June 24).

The show, at the Wiltern Theatre, was hastily organised to accommodate fans who were unable to attend the band's show at the sold out 'KROQ Weenie Roast' the day before. Tickets went on sale on Saturday morning and sold out immediately.

Coldplay finish up their short US tour this Thursday (June 28) with a show at New York's legendary Radio City Music Hall.
