Demanding to speak to someone in charge, Martin was then joined on stage by Eavis. Martin introduced Eavis as "the best singer in the world", before stating the song would be "special".

The band covered Frank Sinatra's 'My Way,' with Martin on the piano and Eavis singing the whole song solo.

Michael Eavis did karaoke at this year's festival on Thursday, as had been tradition in recent years.

Eavis has a long history of making appearances during the Thursday night of the festival, this year taking on an Elvis Presley classic. Appearing at the Avalon Cafe, Eavis sang Presley's 'Can't Help Falling In Love'.
