WALK AWAY LIKE COMMON PEOPLE
Two of the underground rapper's band have suddenly walked out...
Common, the CHICAGO rapper who has worked with Lauryn Hill, DE LA SOUL and D'ANGELO among others, has cancelled his LONDON show tonight (Monday, October 2) after a split in his backing band.
The fjted underground artist, real name Rashid Lynn, was due to play tonight at the Shepherd's Bush Empire in west London. But two members of his touring band left at the last minute, forcing cancellations of shows in Paris and London. Alongside other rap stars such as Mos Def, The Fugees and The Roots, Common has been using a full band onstage for several years.
There is no information available as yet about a possible rescheduling of the date. Ticket-holders are advised to return tickets to the point of purchase for a refund.
