Coolio has been charged with drug possession after being arrested at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday (March 6).
The rapper has since been released on $10,000 (£7,000) bail, reports Associated Press.
Further details of the arrest have not been released with his manager, Susan Haber, claiming that she had not spoken to her client since the incident.
Coolio recently appeared on 'Celebrity Big Brother' on UK TV where he proved a controversial character, being accused of acting offensively towards his fellow housemates.
