Pathologist will have to investigate Jason Rae's death further though

A pathologist has reported that the late husband of singer Corinne Bailey Rae died of a suspected drug overdose.

During an inquest into Jason Rae's death in Leeds deputy assistant coroner Roger Chapman reported the pathologist's conclusion. Further tests will now be undertaken to investigate the death further, reports BBC News.

During the inquest it was heard that there were no signs of violence, a struggle or trauma in relation to the death of Rae, who was a professional saxophonist in his band, Haggis Horns.

Rae was found in a flat in the Hyde Park area of Leeds last Saturday (March 22). He was 31.

A 32 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.
