Corrs singer to make London West End stage debut
Andrea Corr will perform at the Old Vic next year
The Corrs' singer Andrea Corr is set to make her West End debut at the London Old Vic next February, performing in the play 'Dancing at Lughnasa'.
Corr is likely to play one of the Mundy sisters characters in the play, which is set in 1930s rural Ireland.
Actor Kevin Spacey, artistic director at the Old Vic, was keen to big-up Corr. BBC News reports that he said: "I couldn't be happier that we've attracted such a terrific cast to 'Dancing At Lughnasa'."
Although the play will be Andrea Corr's London stage debut, the singer has appeared in films before. She has acted in films including 'Broken Thread', 'The Bridge' and 'Evita'.
