Counting Crows play sun-drenched set at Oxegen

Counting Crows performed a number of songs from their new album at the Oxegen Festival this afternoon (July 12).

The Californian band laced their set with a host of crowd favourites, alongside tracks from their fifth studio album 'Saturday Nights And Sunday Mornings', for a sun-drenched set on the Main Stage.

New tracks performed included '1492', 'Washington Square' and 'Le Ballet d'Or'.

However, the loudest cheer was reserved for their biggest hit single 'Mr Jones'.

Describing new track 'Washington Square', singer Adam Duritz said: "This song is about getting your shit together, which is difficult for me sometimes."

Rounding off the set, he added: "Thank you so much for all these years. It is such a fucking great place to come. See you at Dublin Point at Christmas."
