Courtney Barnett performs 'Depreston' live on 'Ellen' - watch

Courtney Barnett has appeared on US TV, performing live on 'Ellen'.

The Australian singer is set to release her new album next week, but first ran through her track 'Depreston' on the daytime show. Watch below.



Barnett recently streamed her new album 'Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit' online.

The LP is technically Barnett's first album. However, two of her EPs ('I've Got A Friend Called Emily Ferris' and 'How To Carve A Carrot Into A Rose') were put out together as 'The Double EP: A Sea Of Split Peas' in 2013.

The album is released on March 23. Speaking about the tracks on the album, Barnett commented that, "My songs follow me as a normal human with normal emotions, so there are great highs and great lows. They span everything in my life."
