COURTNEY LOVE is planning to publish her own diaries, though they "couldn't be more unlike KURT's".

The singer, who previously released the diary entries of her late husband, Kurt Cobain, is currently looking for a publisher to take on 'Love Diaries: My Life In Words And Pictures' - an emotional biography in scrapbook form.

David Vigliano, Love 's literary agent - and the man responsible for brokering Cobain's 'Journals' deal - said: "The book features Courtney's legendary writings that have been whispered and wondered about for years but that no one has ever seen. They're like the literary equivalent of [/a]'s 'Bootleg Series'."

According to MTV News, he added that although comparisons will be drawn between the two books, the 'Love Diaries' "couldn't be more unlike Kurt's ".

The 250-page book will include diary entries, love letters and notes to Cobain, unpublished lyrics, Polaroids and private photographs with Cobain and their daughter Frances Bean. Also featured will be probation reports from juvenile-hall stays, fliers from early [a] gigs, sketches and fashion designs - including those drawn while Love was held at London's Heathrow Airport in February 2003 after being arrested for disorderly conduct.

Vigliano said: "Love's life bridges the worlds of punk rock and Hollywood glamour, high fashion and San Francisco hippiedom. No other person's life touches so many cultures or such a broad cast of characters — from Julian Cope and Alex Cox to Milos Forman and Marlon Brando."

Unpublished linear notes for [a][/a]'s 1994 album 'Live Through This' will also be featured, including the lines: "Like a virus on glucose, you're hungry, but I'm starving. ... I dream of Anne Sexton in her red negligee, with her therapist. ... I dream of life, life, life and truth. Now go to hell."

Love will enter into negotiations with publishers this week, promising that she can deliver the book by the beginning of April. 'Love Diaries: My Life In Words And Pictures' is likely to be released in Autumn 2004.
