COURTNEY LOVE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL

Courtney Love was rushed to a LOS ANGELES hospital on Thursday (July 21) morning after becoming ill at a HOLLYWOOD event.


The singer was attending a private party at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel when, shortly after midnight, the singer went outside and complained to a friend that she was feeling faint. According to a statement issued by a representative for the singer: “A friend called an ambulance [as a] precaution.”


Courtney Lovewas taken to a nearby hospital where she was immediately released. No further details regarding Courtney Love’s condition were made available.


Meanwhile a progress report on the singer’s rehab efforts is due to be delivered to a judge at a Los Angeles courtroom later today (July 22), this follows her sentencing last July to 18 months of probation, drug rehabilitation and ordered to steer clear of alcohol after she pleaded guilty to a misdemeanour drugs charge stemming from an incident in October 2003. Courtney Love is not scheduled to attend court herself.
