Courtney Love is being sued by a drug rehabilitation centre over an alleged unpaid bill.
The Beau Monde centre in California has claimed it has repeatedly asked for the amount to be settled since the singer stayed there in 2005.
The star had been ordered into a drug treatment programme for 180 days by a court for probation violations. Love was sentenced to drug treatment for violating probation in three separate cases, including assault and battery and illegal possession of painkillers.
Her response to the treatment was deemed a success by a judge, who cut the length of her probation period. Love is now working on a new album - the follow-up to 2004's 'America's Sweetheart' is expected to be released later this spring.
Her lawyer said he expected the legal action which will see the centre trying to reclaim a fee of $181,000 (£93,705), "will be resolved to the satisfaction of all parties shortly", the BBC reports.
The action, filed at Orange County Superior Court, alleges Ms Love paid $10,000 (£5,177) upfront to the Beau Monde before commencing the programme, but hasn't settled the remaining debt.
