Courtney Love's first ever art show is set to open in New York next month.

And She's Not Even Pretty will open on May 3 at the Fred Torres Collaborations gallery and will feature a number of drawings by the Hole frontwoman. Speaking to the Huffington Post, Love said the exhibition is "really a Kurt-free zone" and added that instead of focusing on her marriage to Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain "a lot of this collection is about one romance".

The show will feature a drawing of Love's friend Gwyneth Paltrow amongst the 45 pieces on display, which include a host of female nudes in pencil, pastels and watercolours. "I don't know when I'll do this again," she said of the exhibition. "[But] if this works with me, there are gonna be a whole lot of other ones."

Courtney Love reunited with the mid-'90s line-up of Hole for the first time in 15 years in New York earlier this month. The singer was beckoned onstage by bassist Melissa Auf der Maur at an after-party for Hit So Hard, a documentary about drummer Patty Schemel, at the city's Public Assembly venue. Love sang a version of Hole's 1994 single 'Miss World', before returning for an encore cover of legendary punk group the Wipers' 'Over The Edge'.
