The former Hole frontwoman will tour the UK in May

Courtney Love has shared a brand new song called 'You Know My Name'.

Listen to the fast-paced punk track by clicking above. The song will be released as a double A-side single with 'Wedding Day' on May 4. Following the release Courtney Love will tour the UK, playing nine dates, starting with two shows at London Shepherd's Bush Empire on May 11-12, finishing at Newcastle Riverside on May 22. Speaking about the tour, she said: "I feel most at home in the UK and can't wait to catch up on TOWIE and play in my second and hopefully, inevitably my first home. I grew up half a British citizen and I just miss it. I can't wait to play for my Brits."

Courtney Love also recently said that people "expect a lot more from me" than from Queens Of The Stone Age. Speaking to The Quietus, the former Hole frontwoman discussed her writing process, commenting: "Well, you sit and you write like, Queens Of The Stone Age drudge for a month, and it's just not happening, and it's not happening – not that Queens Of The Stone Age suck, but people expect a lot more from me."

She added that people have set a "higher bar" for her when it comes to songwriting. "Josh Homme can play, like, four notes on his bass and people take off their tops, but I have a higher bar for whatever reason. It has to be just fucking really really good," she explained.
