DOLORES 'LINGER'S OVER US PROBLEM
Dolores O'Riordan says she "won't be in a hurry" to visit the US at the moment, even though the band have a new album to promote...
The Cranberries are a huge draw in the US, a country where they have sold the majority of their 33 million albums. However, O'Riordan now says she feels it would be too dangerous to visit to support new album 'Wake Up And Smell The Coffee'.
Speaking to The Mirror newspaper today (October 26), O'Riordan says she watched CNN footage of the second 'plane smashing into the World Trade Center. She added: "It was so shocking because I guess no one ever thought someone would do this to America. I wouldn't be in a hurry to go over there now. It's way too dangerous at the moment."
The diminutive frontwoman added: "We were planning to go on tour next year, but if all hell breaks loose I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying at home with my family."
