RADIO FORE!

The star-studded Poptones-run Radio4 night is on the verge of panning the globe...

RADIO FORE!

POPTONES club night, RADIO4, are considering opening similar clubs across the world, NME.COM can exclusively reveal.

The weekly club night is run by ex-Creation Records boss Alan McGee, and takes place at the Notting Hill Arts Club in London.

Since opening earlier in the year, the club has attracted celebrities including Oasis, Elastica, Primal Scream and Courtney Love through its doors.

Now, McGee has received a number of offers from across the world to open similar nights.

A spokesperson for Poptones told NME.COM: "The Poptones DJs have had loads of offers to DJ in places like Manchester and Scotland, while Internationally we've received offers to open Radio4 bars. When the right offer is made, that is something that he'd (McGee) like to do.

The clubs would keep the Poptones name, and retain the Radio4 vibe, which would mean a mixture of live music and an eclectic mix of DJs.
