CREED CRASH CALAMITY

CREED have cancelled a North American tour after singer SCOTT STAPP suffered injuries in a car crash.

The group were due to play a show last night in Fargo, North Dakota (April 29), and continue their tour until the end of May. However, Stapp was in a car crash and has been advised to pull the shows.

A statement reads: "Creed frontman Scott Stapp was in an automobile accident, where his car was struck by another vehicle. Due to the nature of the accident, his body absorbed a 60-mile-an-hour impact. He has been advised by medical professionals to make this regrettable, but necessary decision as he recuperates."

Refunds are being made available, and the group hope to return to the live arena in mid-summer.
