CREED IMPERSONATOR ARRESTED

A man impersonating CREED guitarist MARK TREMONTI has been arrested in FLORIDA.

The man, who police have named as Kevin Eckenrod, has been staying at beach hotels around the state claiming to be the Christian rock band's guitarist, handing out autographed copies of publicity photos.

A woman told police she invited Eckenrod to her home where he took her credit card. She spotted him at a restaurant on Sunday (April 27) and called police.

Police in Clearwater, Florida say Eckenrod has been arrested more than 60 times, many for swindling. He is being held in jail on $20,000 bail.
