CROCKETTS STAR FACING CHARGES?
A man requires treatment for cuts to his face after the incident in a London pub...
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan police told NME.COM that investigations were ongoing, and though no charges had been brought, they were not ruled out.
As previously revealed on NME.COM, police were called to the Camden Monarch in north London just after midnight following an argument between McManus and another man. It has now emerged that the man was not a journalist, as first thought, but the row is still said to have erupted over unfavourable remarks about The Crocketts. The police spokesperson would not reveal names, confirming only that both men involved were 26-years-old. The victim, who received cuts to his face and chin, had said "something to (McManus) about the band not playing good music".
He has not yet brought any charges and no-one was arrested.
McManus could not be contacted today and The Crocketts' record label V2 have refused to comment.
