Canadian band Crystal Castles have been forced to cancel a number of Canadian dates after singer Alice was involved in a car accident this week (March 1).
The incident has forced the band to postpone dates in Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Albuquerque and Austin (March 5-13).
Speaking to NME.COM, bandmate Ethan explained: “We’re on tour and it’s a bit of a disaster. Alice broke her ribs in a car accident. The doctor said she needs six weeks off but she wants to start playing again next week.”
The singer has since been discharged from hospital, and expects to return for their appearance at NME’s SXSW showcase on March 14.
