Crystal Castles create a dance party at SXSW
The Toronto duo bring NME party to a climax
Crystal Castles got a shoulder-to-shoulder crowd dancing as the penultimate act at NME's South by Southwest party tonight (March 15).
Wearing black hoodies and dark eyeliner, the hotly tipped Toronto duo wowed the packed house with their electrifying electro-clash tunes, creating a dance party amongst those lucky enough to get into the venue, while several people were left queuing on the street below.
Singer Alice Glass said hardly a word between songs, but displayed tremendous energy throughout their set, jumping up and down non-stop.
The crowd ate it up, cheering loudly during several numbers while one overly enthusiastic fan offered up a large ceramic rooster to the band.
